Shed Seven have today announced a run of intimate in-store events across the UK in support of their forthcoming album, Liquid Gold. Tickets are now on sale here.

Each store will be treated to a stripped-back performance from the band followed by a signing and meet-and-greet session. Demand for these in-store dates is expected to be high, and fans are advised to grab tickets very quickly—the popular York band put two intimate acoustic hometown shows at Huntington Working Men’s Club on sale earlier this month, which sold out within 5 minutes.

SEPTEMBER / OCTOBER 2024 – INSTORE EVENTS

27th Sept – HMV, Manchester

27th Sept – Wax & Beans, Bury

28th Sept – HMV Vault, Birmingham

28th Sept – Head Records, Leamington Spa

29th Sept – Rough Trade East, London

30th Sept – Vinilo, Southampton

30th Sept – Resident, Brighton

1st Oct – Rough Trade, Bristol

2nd Oct – Rough Trade, Nottingham

3rd Oct – Bear Tree Records, Sheffield

Not content with landing their first-ever No.1 album in their 30th year with A Matter of Time, Shed Seven’s upcoming reworked orchestral hits set ‘Liquid Gold’ could well become their second, with pre-order sales already surpassing what was achieved by the last time around.

The new album ‘Liquid Gold’ offers an alternative gateway into Shed Seven’s world – their most famous hits are now presented in a widescreen format that can entice a new audience. Reimagined by the band in collaboration with arrangers Fiona Brice (Liam Gallagher, Placebo) and Michael Rendall (who worked on both ‘A Matter of Time’ and 2017’s Top 10 comeback ‘Instant Pleasures’) with a brass section and gospel singers, the career-spanning set was first previewed by recent single ‘Devil In Your Shoes’.

Shed Seven’s 30th anniversary celebrations continue with two homecoming shows at York’s Museum Gardens next month, both of which quickly sold out. They have already sold over 45,000 tickets for this autumn’s 30th anniversary UK tour, with many dates sold out and with less than 10% of tickets remaining for select shows available HERE.
